The Island
Andros Island is often described as a miniature of Greece and the jewel in the crown of the Cyclades. Just a two-hour ferry ride from the port of Rafina in Athens, it stands out as the greenest of the Cycladic islands, with untouched beaches, towering mountains, small rivers of fresh water, fruit-bearing trees, natural springs, and lush greenery throughout the island.
Despite its rich natural beauty, Andros remains a serene and largely undiscovered destination, untouched by mass tourism and ideal for year-round exploration.
Sophisticated yet rustic, mountainous yet beach-lined, nautical yet agricultural—the island surprises at every turn. With dramatic contrasts in its landscape, Andros blends dry, rugged Cycladic terrain with fertile valleys fed by sweet water rivers, Venetian castles, and grand mansions once owned by local shipowners. Its world-renowned hiking trails, dramatic cliffs, and picturesque villages make it a truly unique place to visit.
The island’s natural beauty - marked by elegant simplicity, lush greenery, local food rooted in the land, and winding paths through aromatic hills leading to breathtaking beaches - is just a few of the reasons we fell in love with Andros.
